Director of Training

 

Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, Ph.D. is the Director of Training of the Kundalini Research Institute. He is a psychotherapist, teacher, writer and world recognized expert in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®. He is known as an energetic and humorous speaker who has presented in many conferences around the world. Dr. Khalsa has done original research on the cognitive and physiological impact of meditation upon human performance, authored many writings on yoga, designed social programs and trained counselors.

Tarn Taran Singh Khalsa
Executive Director of the Aquarian Teacher

 

Tarn Taran Singh Khalsa became a student of Yogi Bhajan’s in 1972. Teaching, training teachers and practicing Kundalini Yoga for more than 30 years in the USA, Europe and Latin America, he founded 3HO Germany, the European Yogi Tea Company and the first European Teacher Training program. Currently living in New Mexico, Tarn Taran Singh serves KRI as International Coordinator of Trainers and Aquarian Teacher Program Director. He is also a talented musician and gifted, humorous and engaging speaker. He has authored a series of Mantra CDs which include Mantras of Prayer and Ik Ardas.

Nirvair Singh Khalsa

KRI General Manager

 

Nirvair Singh Khalsa has studied with Yogi Bhajan since 1970. He is a retired university instructor. He taught classes in Kundalini Yoga at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, for 30 years. Since his retirement from the University, he has become the Managing Director of the Kundalini Research Institute. He has authored 19 DVD's and 4 books on Kundalini Yoga. Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa

 

Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa, PhD has taught Kundalini Yoga since 1971.  She began to specialize in teaching to people with chronic or life threatening illness and their family members in 1986, under the direction of Yogi Bhajan. At his request she founded the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology. The Center provides direct client  services, professional training and conducts outcome studies on the
medical effects of yoga practice. She is a Medical Family therapist, a KRI Certified Level One and Level Two Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer, a RYT 500, and a charter  member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Dr. Khalsa trains yoga teachers and health professionals to incorporate Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to the psychological, spiritual and behavioral aspects of health recovery.

Guru Dev Singh Khalsa

 

Guru Dev Singh Khalsa, the founder of The School of Sat Nam Rasayan® and The Center for Contemplative Awareness, travels the globe teaching healing, meditation and Kundalini yoga. He began studying Kundalini Yoga in his native Mexico when he met Yogi Bhajan over thirty years ago. Guru Dev conducts the week-long ReMan meditation for 24 hours a day in India every spring, in addition to holding annual healing retreats in Assisi, Italy each winter and in the summer at Mount Shasta, drawing participants from all over the world. Guru Dev has co-authored “Sat Nam Rasayan®: The Art of Healing” and has had books and magazine articles written about him and Sat Nam Rasayan® in 7 different languages. 2007 marks Guru Dev’s first time being a Guest Teacher at Teacher’s Training in New Mexico.

Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, C.N., A.H.G., is an herbalist and educator with twenty-five years of clinical experience. He has studied under Ayurvedic master Yogi Bhajan for two decades and also has expertise with Western, Chinese, European, and Native American herbs. His knowledge spans both traditional and modern views and practices in herbal medicine. A sought-after consultant and teacher, he travels extensively to offer his knowledge and experience through classes, conferences, and the media. He also developed Kinesionics®, a unique muscle-testing tool used widely by other practitioners. He is a licensed nutritionist, licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, certified trainer for the International Association of Specialized Kinesiologists, and a professional member of the American Herbalists Guild and many other professional organizations.
